Snow Fall Afghan

Started a new crochet project last night. Was going to be a baby blanket for a friends baby shower gift, but the yarn I got is too thick making the blanket too bulky for baby. So I am going to make a new one for her and finish this one as a throw for the living room. Here is the beginning of it

Apple Pie Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls

Apple Pie Stuffed Cinnamon Rolls

1 can apple pie filling
2 cans pillsbury cinnamon rolls with icing

1) Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Open cans of cinnamon rolls and using hands or rolling pin, flatten each roll individually into a thin disk.
2) Top half of the disks with a soup-spoon-size scoop of apple pie filling. Place another flattened disk on top to create a sandwich. Place each "sandwich" on to a baking sheet.
3) Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until nicely browned and baked through. Cool slightly and then spread icing on top of each roll. Enjoy warm or cool longer to eat as a handheld turnover!

Makes 8 apple stuffed turnovers

The one missing was in my tummy already!

Only 2 ingredients!!

Welcome!

Home Sweet Home
Ah yes… we always start at home. After all it’s where the heart is, where love grows, where family gathers and where comfort is found. My home is filled with two young daughters, a boyfriend and a bunch of animals! To keep my sanity in tact I am always finding new hobbies, crafts, projects and ideas to tackle. My mind is always creating and when time allows I finalize the creations into works of art.. or so I’d like to think. So welcome into my home and make yourself comfortable
